bettyandbob
dh needs a new coffee grinder. Ours broke a while back and he's been buying ground coffee. I read an article today about "fillers" being added to ground coffee. The problem with fillers is expected to get worse with the coffee shortage. I'd rather pay for beans and know dh was getting actual coffee not twigs, wheat or dirt. what's your favorite grinder?

KungFuPanda
We just grind at the store. I buy DHs coffee at trader joes. I love the smell even though I don't drink coffee. I grind it course because he usually uses a French press.

It did start clogging up last year and beans got stuck. We give it a shake and it would work again. Eventually DH took it apart and cleaned the gears. Has worked perfectly since then. DawnM
OP, get a BURR grinder and not a blade grinder. The blades just heat up the beans, which takes away from the flavor. I have a 12 year old Starbucks Burr grinder and it is still going strong. I have this one: http://coffeegeek.com/reviews/grinders/starbucks_barista_grinder?Page=2 You can pay anywhere from $50-$1000 for a grinder so do some homework! CoffeeGeek.com is an excellent site.
