TrixieB
The SAT language subject tests have the option of listening or written-only. Is there an advantage to taking one over the other? Do colleges see one as more desirable than the other? I am trying to decide which option for my dd to pursue next year as she'll be taking her 4th high school year of her language. Arcadia
The University of California system wants the SAT tests with listening for the tests that have that option. They accept the scores for SAT Spanish/ French/ German/ Chinese/ Japanese/ Korean with listening for language other than english requirement. They did not list the listening requirement for Hebrew, Italian and Latin. So check the college requirements.
Matryoshka
Annoyingly, they are only offered once a year with listening. At the exact same time (so good luck if you want to do two languages).
