blondeviolin
I've nursed plenty of kids with teeth. This is the first time I've had this issue. He's not biting me. His latch has changed like they do sometimes. The tooth that came in (his top right bilateral tooth) rubs wrong or something. My nipple has a spot where it's been rubbed raw. :(. It's only my right side that is affected. Changing positions doesn't help. Any tips to adjust the latch or whatnot to alleviate some of the pain? He is 13 mos. zoobie
Nipple shield maybe? My current youngest is a pirhana. I swear there are rows and rows of teeth in her mouth...
Tammyla
:grouphug: You can try Lansinoh on the sore spot and begin feeding on the other side for awhile. A LC might be able to advise and help.
Desert Strawberry
Aim your nipple up toward the roof of the mouth.
