Night Elf
Dd has a culinary lab this week to prepare couscous. Her teacher is going to provide seasonings that she thinks is good, but she's not telling the class in advance what they are. Well, she did give an example of garlic. What kinds of simple seasonings could be used in couscous? We're assuming her teacher will tell them how to prepare it, but is just leaving the seasoning up to the students. umsami
Maybe cumin, coriander, cloves, allspice, cinnamon… something along those lines. You can also do a sweet couscous with cinnamon, pine nuts or almonds, dates, apricots, raisins or other dried fruits.
Prairie~Phlox
Do a search on allrecipes.com for Mayan couscous. Really you can use any spices/herbs to season it.
laughing lioness
We eat it regularly- mainly with coconut oil and Spike, but also for breakfast with eggs and kale.
