happypamama
My three older children have recently started taking martial arts and love it. They need to practice at home, so we need to invest in a good mat. The studio has foam mats on the floor but brings out the heavier duty folding mats for the rolling and falling exercises. I want to get one of those. Does anyone have a recommendation for one, like what thickness, what dimensions, where to buy, etc.? Amazon has several, and free shipping is always attractive, but I would love some specifics.
Heather in MD
We bought a folding mat from Tiffin years ago and it is still going strong. This is the one we got. http://www.tiffinmats.com/products/elite-tumbler/ We live very close to the Tiffin factory, so we saved on shipping by picking the mat up ourselves.
