AimeeM
Did you use it as your core math program, or as a supplement? I'm probably going to pick up A and B (he knows most of the skills in A, but I might want to cherry pick a few things from it). I also have CLE math 1, but Mathematical Reasoning certainly looks more colorful and *fun*, if I can get away with using it as our core. abba12
we use it as a core, but with lots of other resources, we don't really have a math curricula, I piece things together from lots of sources. but I use it as a backbone of sorts. it doesn't have as many questions so if your child needs lots of practice you'll want to add some. also it is VERY spiral. I'm quite comfortable with that because it's how I did math at school, but for some people it can be an adjustment
Um_2_4
Core, adding in some number writing worksheets (Mine LOVE worksheets LOL!) and this book: http://www.amazon.com/Math-Practice-Beginners-PreK-K/dp/1420631152/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1392860455&sr=1-1&keywords=math+practice+for+beginners (It does need to be photocopied as some pages need to be cut/paste and are 2 sided iykwim).
