We are planning on sandwiches for one lunch only, I think. I have 8 loaves of bread from the 8.5 inch bread pans. Will that be enough? I can bake another 3-5 today if needed. OH! Families- 4 adults, 1 13 yog, 2 11 yog, 2 8 yob, 1 7 yob To bake or not to bake??
Sasharowan
For kids like mine, that would be more than plenty, but mine are more grazers than anything. They would eat maybe one sandwiches and graze on fruits, veggies, whatever else I packed for the rest of the day.
JFSinIL
Depends on how much else you are taking. Fruit? Brownies? Veggies? No one wants to eat just sandwiches. And frolicking on the beach will make folks HUNGRY!!!! The adults/teens MAY eat more than one sandwich. After lunch, after playing for a few more hours, folks may want more food before getting into the cars to go home.
Tammyla
How many slices do you yield per loaf? I'd make enough for everyone to have at least two sandwiches and a few extras. Have fun... RoughCollie
Eight loaves of bread sounds like more than enough for 10 people, to me. RC
