poppy
I have 1000 craft sticks and just glue sticks, not anything that will reliable hold together a construction. Any ideas? Expecting a dozen or so kids.
AnIslandGirl
Using yarn, you could make a dream catcher or some people call the "god's eyes". http://www.wikihow.com/Make-an-Eye-of-God Or you could have them make puzzles by taping about a dozen together for each child and coloring them. Mix them up and have another child try to complete the puzzle?
DragonFaerie
Popsicle stick chain reactions! Google it or search on You Tube. Basically, they line up the sticks interlinking them, and then they hit the end stick and it makes the line of sticks "explode". It's really pretty cool, and they can do it over and over again.
