thepoteetteam
Do any of your kids make these? My kids have learned how to make them and LOVE them. My 15 year old wants to make them as gifts. I'm wondering where the best place is to buy the cord and clips?
bethben
My son has gotten all of his supplies from Amazon.
SailorMom
Possibly using the 40% off coupons at Hobby Lobby? If you can print 2, have one person buy the clips, and another buy the cord. They have a large selection of colors there as well.
Stratford
We usually buy from amazon or paracordplanet.com. If you sign up for their emails, Paracord Planet has coupons all the time (ask me how I know.)
trinchick
I saw some books, cords, and clips at AC Moore this weekend. They've been having 55% of coupons floating around the past few weeks.

Tess in the Burbs
We were buying in amazon and para cord, but then he started buying from camping survival. He found that some places sold cheap para cord. He wanted a military grade that really holds the weight it claims. If you cut the cord and break apart the inside for several different kinds you can see the difference inside. Dh bought huge rolls of the stuff.....we have a lot of it
Seasider
Once your kids get the hang if it and want to paracord braid everything in sight, check your local military surplus store. Ours sells it pretty cheap.
