helena
I love the movie Badlands (Martin Sheen and Sissy Spacek) and don't ever see it mentioned. I think it was well received when it came out though. The King of Comedy (Jerry Lewis gets kidnapped by De Niro) Bagdad Cafe The Sheltering Sky Debra Winger was amazingly monotone, but I still love it!! :tongue_smilie: Kids movie has to be Bugsy Malone!!!!!! WHY isn't this movie more popular?

helena
Simon Birch The Illusionist Daybreak Phoebe in Wonderland Ones listed that I have seen and really like: Tremors (own it) The Englishman Who Went Up a Hill... Lars and the Real Girl The Painted Veil (Edward Norton is a favorite) Big Fish The Cutting Edge ETA: when the Illusionist came out, there was another magician themed movie (The Prestige) that came out and seemed to be the popular choice. I watched both and liked the Illusionist better. My brother argued that there was no way that the Illusionist was better. Then he watched it and admitted that I was right. :D The kids watched Tremors for the first time tonight! We roasted pumpkin seeds and got cozy. :)
Kareni
Memento Memento I'm not much of a movie watcher, but my husband is. I borrowed Memento from the library due to your recommendations, and he enjoyed it very much. Thank you both! Regards, Kareni
