Night Elf
Would it be weird to use plain brown chocolate candy in a sheet of pumpkin candy molds? Ideally, I would like to make cats but I can't find a sheet of Halloween cat molds I like. I have a template to trace, but I've decided I'm not steady enough to make the candy look clean and neat. I need a candy mold.
Jen in PA
I can't answer your question, but I am relieved it has nothing to do with mold on Halloween candy. :scared: ETA: I can't answer because I think all chocolate sounds pretty good, so I'm not the best judge of what would be weird. Orthodox6
I can't answer your question, but I am relieved it has nothing to do with mold on Halloween candy. :scared: EXACTLY my initial reaction! Chocolate is molded into all manner of shapes -- and devoured with alacrity. Not all rabbits are brown in real life, but we see chocolate rabbits every spring, along with chocolate chicks and flowers. St. Nicholas was of Middle Eastern heritage, but we find chocolate "Santa Claus" candies every December. So go for the pumpkins!
Guest
Totally thinking moldy chocolate, lol. Are you asking if you should make chocolate pumpkins? Yes! Yum! If it's chocolate, I don't care if it's a cat or a pumpkin!
Chris in VA
Agreeing--chocolate pumpkins sound great! They'd look pretty atop a pumpkin cupcake, too. Just sayin'... (Is "atop" even a word?)
