kmp
Are there any printables for the Apologia Biology (2nd Ed.) module summaries? I need to use the text for other children and do not want my son to write his answers in the book. Thanks!
mumto2
The cd-rom book version has them as printables on the disc with the tests.
nousername
The instructions suggest that the student actually write out these in full instead of just filling in the blanks. Better for studying for the test and remembering what you learn (for some) to write out the entire sentence with the correct words. So, I was having mine write them out in her science notebook. *anj*
I've been looking for these as well. My children are using this text in a class, so they write out this material when they take lecture notes. The module summary is just a way for them to review, so it would be great if we could find a printable version. There is an Apologia Biology Yahoo group, and although they offer printable study guides, they don't have the Module Summaries. Bummer. G5052
Several helps for Apologia Biology... Donna Young: http://donnayoung.org/apologia/biology1.htm#ed2 Applie's Place: http://appliejuice.wordpress.com/apologia-sciences/apologia-biology/ We only used Apologia for Physical Science, but the vocabulary bookmarks from Donna Young were especially helpful. jjfamily
My DS types them out. She thinks it helps with her retention. Sometimes you can find the CDROMs of the Solutions & Tests pretty cheap on eBay.
kerenlynne
Can you just make copies of the summaries? I make copies of pages of textbooks for DS a lot. Made copies of review questions at the back of the chapter from the Physics book yesterday. DS has trouble tracking so this way he didn't have to flip back and forth through the chapter. Kind of spendy but for biology there are only 16 or so chapters right? Or if you have a scanner you could scan them and then edit and print them out in whatever format you need them to be in.
