Catherine
He is 12, a rising seventh grader, and we are about halfway through LP 2. He likes Latin, and though I have learned alongside him, he is surpassing me now. But he's struggling a bit. He needs more practice than the textbook exercises provide. Unfortunately, LP 2 has no workbook like LP 1. Can anyone recommend a place, a website ideally, that would provide some additional practice in verb tenses, translation, everything? TIA. Laura Corin
I didn't have that issue with LP2 but I did when using SY French with Hobbes. We redid a lot of the exercises orally to cement the work. I'll think about other resources. L
Halcyon
How about a Latin Reader? Would that help? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0984306552/ref=ox_sc_act_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Laura Corin
There's Latin Galore which is a revision (review) programme. I haven't used it but there's a demo here. There are also Latin Practice exercises - again I haven't used them but they cover the same syllabus. L
yvonne
Classical Academic Press has online practice exercises here. The exercises are based on CAP's Latin for Children and Latin Alive books, but one could easily go in, start at the beginning with the LfC or LA practice games and work forward. (LA1 covers the same material found in LfC A-C.)
