momto2Cs
Just looking for a physics/physical science program that is similar to Ellen McHenry's Elements. Ideas, suggestions? Thanks!

PhotoGal
I haven't tried it yet, but I have been looking at TOPS Science. It has a cartoony feel and there are quite a few physics options.
cschnee
Thw "Stop faking It" series is excellent. I've used the Forces book as well as the Light book. Also books by Bryce Hixon are great. http://www.teachersource.com/product/photon-u-by-bryce-hixson/books-music-software
blessed3x
:lurk5: We are going to be using The Elements next, so I am curious.
Chrysalis Academy
Yes, I second the "Stop Faking It" series of books. They look amazing (I have the Force & Motion book and drool over the others). I'm planning to incorporate some of this stuff this year, if we have time, and definitely could see these activities fleshing out a 9th grade algebra-based physics lab. They have Chemistry, too. http://www.nsta.org/publications/press/stopfakingit.aspx
