  1. SYNC 2014 returns! Our summer program gives away 2 FREE audiobook downloads each week for the summer starting May 15and ending August 14. Have you checked out the complete title list, including James Patterson's CONFESSIONS OF A MURDER SUSPECT and its pair partner, Agatha Christie's THE MURDER AT THE VICARAGE?
  2. I think most if not all Cyberchase episodes can be found on You Tube.
  3. The Stop Faking It books are very hands-on, with excellent explanations. There are 2 chemistry books. You could also try some of the GEMS chemistry books or even TOPS Analysis.
  4. We enjoyed The Brain too and found that The GEMS guide, Learning about Learning (http://lhsgems.org/GEMSLearning.html) went fantastically well with it.
  5. There is one activity book in the Stop Faking It! series. It is for Forces. We used it in conjunction with the actual book, but it isn't really necessary. Books by Bryce Hixon are excellent too http://www.seriouslyfunnyscience.com/ And there are some great books by AIMS as well http://www.aimsedu.org/category/activity-books_science-69/Activity-Books/Science-Activity-Books-6-9/1.html (we've used Machine Shop). Don't forget TOPS! http://www.topscience.org/ Lots of great physics there.
  6. Thw "Stop faking It" series is excellent. I've used the Forces book as well as the Light book. Also books by Bryce Hixon are great. http://www.teachersource.com/product/photon-u-by-bryce-hixson/books-music-software

  9. It took us 2 years to do each of the first two bks, but we added a lot to the reading + Quest Guide.
