We planted late so it's probably going to be another month before we can eat any. I will so enjoy the day we can eat corn, green beans and potatoes from our garden. YUM! Truscifi Posted July 12, 2013 Share Posted July 12, 2013 We have made fried okra, fried green tomatoes, and a pot of pigeon peas from our summer garden, as well as put up more okra and pigeon peas, and purple hull peas. And we are gearing up to plant more tomatoes, cukes, greens, etc for our fall and winter garden. Oh, and the sweet potatoes are still growing. They won't be ready until late fall.
