CyndiLJ
Can anyone point me to a realy good resource to explain the differences between cells, molecules and atoms? I'd really love a diagram or something visual that would help my kids understand the differences. We have ELL learners and that is complicating things as we move to higher level subject matter so any visual resource for science topics would be supremely helpful! Thanks! Arcadia
Maybe this diagram might help "Figure 1: Levels of the body from smallest to largest: Atoms, molecules, cells, tissues, organs, and organ systems" My older has asked for a molecular model student set. Maybe that might help too as kids get to touch and build the models.
zoobie
This article has some cool photographs of molecules: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/05/130530142007.htm

daijobu
I'm late to this, but there's a book called What is Smaller than a Pygmy Shrew by Robert Wells. It starts with the shrew and goes all the way down to quarks! It's a hoot, and really gives you a big picture...of smallness.
