mamapjama
What programs out there are fun and creative for a keen 6 year old?
yslek
Just off the top of my head: Minimus Song School Latin (from Classical Academic Press) Latin's Not So Tough (workbook/flashcard program...We used the 1st two levels just for learning the sounds of Latin slooowwly & vocab memorization. Level 3 started some grammar/sentence stuff, but not in a format that worked for ds. We are starting Latin For Children A this fall, but that is for 3rd graders & up.) HollyDay
I love Latin's not so Tough. It is not as fun as Minimus. But, for me, I didnt know enough latin to teach Minimus our first year. I used Minimus as a summer bridge.

mamapjama
Thanks! I was looking at Song School Latin, and trying to figure out if either Latin's Not so Tough or Latin Prima would be a good fit for us. I'm in Canada and haven't come across any of the online catalogues here that have examples of these programs so I'm just going by the write ups. Do any of you have links for these programs? That would be a HUGE help! Thanks!!

momof165
I have to put in another vote for Song School Latin. My son just loves this program. :D Best of all - it doesn't take a lot of time. Sonja
