blessed3x
My aunt has worked at our local community college for 20+ years and is now retiring. They are having a retirement party for her and we were invited. I want to bring a gift but am at a loss. Help! She does not have any hobbies that she enjoys. When she is off from work she is caring for my elderly grandmother, or running her grandchildren around. She is also generous, but so much that a gift certificate would be passed on to someone else. I need something for *her*. Any ideas?? Thanks in advance. :001_smile:
magnificent_baby
A pretty picture for her wall? Something with a special verse that describes her? A picture of her when she was little, enlarged and framed? A pretty plant? Special soap, powder and lotion basket?
itsheresomewhere
While I know you don't want a gift card but what about setting her up with a massage. You set the appointment for her and even offer to bring her. Maybe turn it into a lunch date for her? Or if all her grandkids are near, what about a appointment for her to get pictures done with them?

Starr
Make a date for something special you can do with her. That way she can't give the tickets away.
