$200 and Keeping it Simple

Recommended Posts

  • 1 month later...

I blogged recently about how I would do things on a budget if I had to start over from scratch. Full disclosure: I do mention using LA products that I sell, though ironically, I didn't mention them by name in this post. :-D I came up with a total of $1370 for twelve years, with nothing to re-purchase, which averages out to $115 per year. I would spend the extra money on awesome books not available through the library.

Math, art instruction, and science can be done via Khan and Watch.Know.Learn (free videos), and other online resources.

Just a head's up. I went to this site, narrowed the age parameters to 9-13, and clicked on a video on writing. I was redirected to an outside site to watch the video, and the outside site had an ad for a "sugar daddy" site.
