Doran
I can't remember having a brown out since back in the 70's (Was it 1970 exactly? This seems to indicate so). We were vacationing in New England, and I remember how strange it seemed to have all the lights suddenly go dim. I know these things happen more often in other places, just not places I've been. So odd. Fitting, somehow. Should I turn off my computers? :)

elegantlion
We had a surge and a flicker this morning. I staggered my laundry and dishes, turned off lights and the printer. The heat index has been over 100 here, so I'll do my part to save some power.
Doran
I hadn't thought of that. Think I'll sign off and unplug now. Rats. I was so good all day and thought I'd have a little fun here tonight. Boo.
