HollyDay Posted March 10, 2013 Share Posted March 10, 2013 So, the last week, I've been SO HUNGRY!! Not just "munchy" but HUNGRY. Hungry like when I'm on prednisone or the day before my period starts. I half jokingly mentioned this to a couple ladies this morning, saying something about this must be just another midlife change now that I have not had a period in a few months. 2 people asked if I had started vitamins because they can make you hungry. Actually, I have. Just 2 weeks ago, the doc suggested I take about 4 grams of C and a B complex. So, I added this to my normal regime of multi-vitamin, cal/mag, and extra D3. A couple days later, I'm eating all the time. So, anyone else have this kind of thing happen with vitamins? I did a quick google search and found that Bs can increase hunger. Negin Posted March 13, 2013 Share Posted March 13, 2013 I think that taking them with food helps. I have heard that they can increase hunger. It's possible that your body is adjusting.
