Heatherwith4
I did some planting yesterday, too! It felt great! Never mind that it's going to be highs in the 40s for most of the rest of the week. :)
Paintedlady
Where do you live that you can plant in Feb? We're getting snow here today (Chicago are). I'm dying to get out there though! I can hardly wait.
fairfarmhand
Middle TN. But it's only the VERY early cool season stuff that we can plant. The main garden stuff won't be going out until May or at the earliest mid April. But any little bit of dirt makes me happy. Dh helped me make some old soup bowls into pots for African Violets on Christmas day. He watched as I repotted them and then said, "You look happier, now that you've planted something for the first time in months!" and it was true. I di feel better. Susie in SWVA
I love getting my hands in the dirt. It is just too wet here to get started outside yet, but in my basement, I have started spring veggies (broccoli, cabbage -red and green, cauliflower), celery, celeriac, salad greens. And Saturday I started my tomatoes. Needless to say, they aren't up yet. Susie in SWVA
Trilliums
Microbes are our friends. :) http://www.scientifi...learni-10-05-24 I can't wait for the snow to melt. I started some seeds indoors even though I know it is too early. Maybe we will have another mild spring plus I am looking into some low tunnel structures.
