kailuamom
For those of you who do logic as a subject -- what programs do you recommend? I have looked at Mind Benders and will probably use some of their workbooks this year, but am looking for other ideas. I'm looking pimarily for my 11 yo dd, but also for my soon-to-be 8 yo. They have done some critical thinking workbooks through Calvert, but no other programs.

jabuford
Susan Wise Bauer suggested Memoria Press, Traditional Logic because it has DVD's. The DVD's are necessary for the student and made for the parent that doesn't have any logic under their belt. The DVD's are the teacher. Hope this helps. katilac
Is The Art of Argument secular?
ljf
I'd also like to know if it is secular, and if I want/need the teacher's manual.
Academy of Jedi Arts
I don't know if it's "secular" but I haven't seen anything religious in it. You don't need the Teacher's manual IMHO, but I like that it has quizzes in there. It also has the answers to all the exercises, if you need/want those.
