Melissa in Australia
Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone knows if this exists. I am in search of an interactive world map that students can plot a course on for my studies. I am doing a bachelor of education, and I have to make a series of lesson plans around a particular strand of the new Australian curriculum. I am creating a series of lessons around Magellan, and as I need to have one of the lessons involving students using the computer. I have tried searching but I basically don't know exactly what to call it. so what I am after is a website that allows students to draw on a map (online) exactly where Magellan sailed. Of course it would be way easier to give them all a world map and tell them to draw it themselves. that is what I have my own children do and if I was in a real classroom that is exactly what I would do. thank you

skeeterbug
Can't you do this in Google Earth? I know dh has plotted his bike trails and whatnot, not sure about at a more global level.
