kalanamak
My son has grown enamored of a sound track to a couple Buster Keaton movies. The music is from the 20s, all instrumental, plenty of clarinet and um-pah in the background, and it is in the style to the introduction to this vid (no singing, just music). I googled 20s and got lots of love songs, I tried New Orleans jazz--a little too fast. I tried Ragtime: all piano. I tried Charleston and just got that one tune, over and over. You know the one. Got any hints on how to find a CD with 20s recordings filled with fun rifts like the opening to this vid:
LeslieAnneLevine
I think that might be a jazz standard? Maybe look for a CD collection of 1920s jazz. ETA: I should say that I didn't listen to the clip! lol I'm at the table with my parents and they are talking so I'm just going by the popular style of the age. I did look on amazon though and found this CD.
Twigs
My 1st thought was ragtime (but I'm no musician!)
