Juliegmom
Can anyone recommend a good literature guide to go along with The Chronicles of Narnia and that is suitable for a third grader? Thanks for your help! :
Dory
I believe Memoria Press has a couple and Progeny Press has some. I'll be doing the MP one with my kids in March so I can't say it's good from personal experience yet. I have liked all of their other studies thus far though. Freckles
We used the Lit Guide from Veritas Press. We enjoyed it.
sweet tea
WE also use and enjoy the Vertias Press Guide. FYI, it is all the books of the series in one guide. I plan to use it over several years -- doing one or two books a year. My girls really like the projects.

sleeplessnights
We've used both the MP guide and the VP guide. The VP guide is mostly comprehension questions, so it's good for younger kids. The MP guide has a lot more discussion and analysis activities, so it might be better for an older student. And the benefit of the VP guide is that all Narnia books are together, so if you want one for Prince Caspian, you've already got it!
Juliegmom
Thanks for all your comments. I was looking at the guide from VP and it looks like we will give it a try!
