HappyLady
My mom and her new fiance will be in town for Christmas. Long story short (or feel free to see my previous posts about her) my mom and I don't have a good relationship. I'm sure she's going to want to see my children, even though she hasn't bothered to talk to them more than 5 times in the last year. Anyway, I can't, no matter how much I want to, be cruel so I should at least get her and her fiance a gift, from the kids of course. What the heck do I get them? I'd like to get a joint gift as I've only met this man twice and barely know him. My mom just moved out-of-state to live with him, if that helps. I have no idea what they have or what they need. Any suggestions?
Unicorn.
Nice picture frame, maybe w/ a picture of the kids. That's all I can come up w/ at the moment.
Farrar
I'd get something bland like you would get for a stranger you have to buy a gift for, like... Gift basket Nice bottle of wine Forcing vase with a bulb or a nice potted plant Coffee table book on something bland Or a picture frame like the PP suggested. athena1277
Make Christmas cookies or another fun Christmas treat with the kids and let them give that on a pretty plate.
