BlueTaelon
I need to wash this stinky jacket I got off ebay, it says "Machine wash cold separately, mild detergent, delicate cycle. do not bleach, tumble dry low. Do not iron or stream. Do not dry clean" I called LL Bean and they said the same thing. I do not want to spend $6-7 on Woolite since I only need it the once (were moving out of state in 2 weeks FINALLY and no room in the car for it so it would be trashed) and the laundry mat doesn't carry it in the vending machine. Plus I don't think Woolite will get the jacket clean. The jacket is totally synthetic with Tek2 and Primaloft
Luckymama
Sure, why not?
BlueTaelon
Sure, why not? You can ruin the fibers if you use the wrong cleaner on the wrong fabric.
momtoamiracle
if it says mild detergent then you can use tide free. The only reason you wouldn't use it is if it said dry clean only. use a small amount, cold water, on a very delicate cycle. I wouldn't put it in the dryer. Luckymama
The fibers don't appear to be that unusual so I should think it would be fine. I wash ds's and dh's hiking/climbing/biking technical clothes in Tide.
fraidycat
I wash all kinds of stuff in regular detergent and dry everything on med or high. Even if it says otherwise on the tag. :)
Forget-Me-Not
I wash everything, even delicates, with regular Tide. I just set my washer to gentle or handwash and use a little less soap.
