athena1277
I have this crockpot. If I want to cook a turkey in it for Thanksgiving, what size turkey will fit? I know most turkeys are huge, but can't I buy something smaller, other than a breast, that will fit? I am not good at estimating size! pink&bluemommy
Probably just a turkey breast, not a turkey, but I did manage a turkey breast and a couple separate turkey legs one year in a similar size crockpot.

Turkey legs! That would be good to try on a non-Thanksgiving day. Off to find recipes. :auto:
cjzimmer1
You're not going to get a whole turkey in that small of a crockpot. You could probably do a chicken in the 7-8 pound range but whole turkey's are quite a bit bigger. I have a 7 qt crockpot and even that is too small for a whole turkey. But as the PP suggested, you could certainly do turkey pieces.
