AmyontheFarm
I was asked once why I was inspecting the eggs. I've always opened the egg carton and made sure the eggs were not broken. I'm not interested in paying for broken eggs. I was told by an employee that it was rude. I smiled and said, "No, it's financially smart!" Tap
I was asked once why I was inspecting the eggs. I've always opened the egg carton and made sure the eggs were not broken. I'm not interested in paying for broken eggs. I was told by an employee that it was rude. I smiled and said, "No, it's financially smart!" And it is expected. The employee was the rude one. I have worked in stores that have sold eggs my entire life and it is expected that customers will do this. It is totally acceptable. If the customer didn't it then the employees will. If there is a broken egg in more than one carton, they are shifted so that only one carton is thrown away, not both.
