nsharris28
Hi! I am homeschooling a 2nd grader and using Heart of Dakota, Right Start Math (changing to Math U See) and the Phonics Road. I'm also doing Classical Conversations. I used Heart of Dakota last year, along with these other things, and loved it!!! But, sadly, this year I'm finding that I never get it all done and am constantly stressed! I'm wondering if I should just give up Heart of D and just let our history and science stem from Classical Conversations. Anyone else out there in a similar situation? Night Elf
You might want to post this on the K-8 curriculum board. You may find more specific curriculum help that way. The only things on your list that I'm familiar with are Right Start Math and Math-U-See. I loved both of them. :)
Janie Grace
Not in that situation but I am familiar with those materials. If I were in your shoes, I'd drop HOD and let history and science come from CC. Maybe just add in some enjoyable literature/Bible read-alouds. CC is meaty and 2nd grade is early. Don't burn yourself out!
