RootAnn
Don't they have a video available? I don't know for sure, but I think you can get the video if you aren't comfortable teaching it yourself. (I've never used HOE, but consider buying it just about every year.) It doesn't look that hard to use.
mathnmusic
I had the video. It made teaching it a no brainer. Actually, I think it would have worked great to have the kids just watch the video rather than have me regurgitate the video contents. Without the video, I'd have had to thought a *little* more about it, but still not much. The instruction manual is pretty clear and walks you step by step through each lesson. Love the program by the way, even my 6 year old was able to do it until it got up to where it assumed multiplication knowledge.
MamaJ & BabyK
I contacted HOE with the same problem :tongue_smilie: They told me to get the iPad app, it is the exact same program. :hurray:
JumpyTheFrog
My son has enjoyed the free HOE Lite iPad app. He finished the last sample problem today, so as I just paid $5 to buy the full version of HOE 1 app. I figure paying $15 for all the levels is a lot cheaper than buying the full curriculum. Also, I don't have to store anything or get anything out, so it's easy to have him to a problem or two every few days.
mama27
Thanks for the replies. It's on sale at Homeschoolbuyers co-op and that got me thinking...
