  1. Does anyone know of an online french 1 course besides The Potter's School? Their class looks great but we are running into scheduling conflicts.
  2. My daughter will be going into 7th grade, she wants to be a veterinarian pathologist and deeply loves science. We have completed Ellen Mchenry's Elements and rs4k's, now I have no idea what to do next! Science is her thing (especially anything chemistry) and she could defiantly keep up with high school work. I was trying to think of long term instead of piecing it together as we go because I don't want her to miss out on anything. Any ideas would be appreciated! Julia
  3. We have the 200 slide set that comes in 2 boxes, so I assume that it's the same as the 100. My DD (10) enjoys studying them. We have opened the box wrong and spilled the slides everywhere. Other than that every thing is great! :)
  4. If you find out let me know! Right now we have about 300 beautiful books that haven't been read yet, many different curriculums that I will never have time to use, and a dozen science kits to get through. When I see something that looks great, I have to have it! :drool5: It's a sickness. We should have a curriculum anonymous meeting forum!
  5. I buy and buy and buy! We have a few hundred that need to be read. Yes, I have a problem but I justify it by saying every homeschool needs a library.
  6. Hi Melmichigan, I tried to PM you also, but it says you can't accept PM's. We would love to join! :)
  7. We used it! My DD loved it, she was actually sad when she finished the final level.
  8. I would do the same! My DD isn't staying anywhere without me! :willy_nilly:My dd just had her 10th Birthday party at the W hotel on the beach. We also got the suite with 2 bedrooms and a den, and I invited every Mother to stay. Some did and some didn't but I wouldn't feel comfortable any other way.
  9. I would think you had an infant too, but call it what you want! :) My entire family still refers to my daughter (10) as a baby. My Mom will say to people I spent time with the baby yesterday, When they say awe hold old they think we're odd too! ;)
  10. I have invested too much time for them to turn the camera now:glare:
  11. How sad! Do you have the name of the rescue group? I would like to send a donation.
  12. This is very deceiving! There is no mandatory labeling of genetically Engineered food so many companies just list as conventional! I work with many groups trying to get these laws passed!
  13. There are so many genetically modified foods out there, its scary! All organic is the way to go! I know it may be more expensive but its easier to spend the money on food now instead of the Dr later. :D
  14. I contacted HOE with the same problem :tongue_smilie: They told me to get the iPad app, it is the exact same program. :hurray:
  15. If those test come back normal take her to the chiropractor! I had my vision go out, tachycardia, and pass out. I had the WHOLE medical workup and they never found the problem. I went to the chiropractor and was asked if I had those symptoms :001_huh: My atlas bone was very out of whack along with a few others. After a few adjustments I was back to normal. Praying for answers :grouphug::grouphug:
  16. Forks over knives http://www.amazon.com/Forks-Over-Knives-Cookbook-Plant-Based/dp/1615190619
  17. Sorry this is happening! :grouphug: I think its time for a new vet! Someone who will listen and take the time! We came home one night to find our Kitty almost lifeless in the corner, he was bleeding everywhere. Rushing to the emergency vet at midnight we were told kitty had 0 chance of survival and needed to be put to sleep. My dd was heartbroken :( I demanded treatment and kitty is still here today. Vets don't always have the answers, I would get a second opinion!
  18. Nice to see other Bearded Dragon lovers! We have two, not by (my) choice but i've grown to love them! :)
  19. I'm sorry for your loss! :grouphug: My husband passed away 3 years ago, my dd was 6 at the time. She would break down then shut down keeping everything inside never wanting to talk about it. I know how hard it is for you but get them talking about Grandpa. My father is a psychologist and says the worst thing is to hold it inside. As for the service, I think your idea of having ds come for a little bit and leaving when he has had enough is wonderful! He might later on regret not going and that just adds to the sorrow. Sending you prayers and hugs! :grouphug:
