Add to that your children are both napping, and you have the time to leisurely set it up and surprise them? This was what I saw pinned: http://attackofthetwins.blogspot.com/2011/08/new-artwork.html Here is our progress. We have to wait until they're dry to show the completed artwork, but it's exciting! (Incidentally, after I took that photo of the naked canvasses, I fixed the letter height as well as I could. The whole project (from letter creation and height to the agony of watching the boys dip paint brushes / fingertips into varying colors) tested my OCD / perfectionistic tendencies... but then my older son may have inherited those. Just gotta get the stuff. I was thinking of getting smaller boards and doing our last name though. There are 8 of us and 8 letters in our name. I thought it would be cute to hang in the entryway. The original article showed some leakage under the blue tape, so I'm interested to see how ours differs. We'll have to wait until tomorrow for the big reveal!
