joannqn
We went to a community event in which 27 terminally or chronically ill kids were honored as Chief of the Day. Twenty-seven different organizations (Police Departments, Sheriff Departments, Fish and Wildlife, State Patrol, etc.), sponsored a child and provided them with their very own uniform, badge, certificate, ride in the police motorcade, gifts, and day of fun. While there, I thought of all you. I told him he would be popular later today. :D

Catwoman
I wish he could have been serving as law enforcement at Jen's in NC! :tongue_smilie: If he had been in Jen's neighborhood today, I'll bet she wouldn't have stayed holed up in the house all day. :drool5: Somehow... just somehow... she would have managed to get some cupcakes and bring them down the street to the kilt-wearing law enforcement dudes. And then we wouldn't have had to wait all day for the details! :tongue_smilie:
