Big Sale at Burlington, NJ Teacher's Store

I received the following email through a local homeschool loop. I don't think I've ever been to this store, although I'm not totally sure. Our first year of homeschooling we drove pretty far south to shop at a store like this, but I can't remember exactly where.

Anyway, they're going out of business. You pay $20 entrance fee, then help yourself to whatever you want. I'm thinking of going, but it's a good drive for me. If any of you are familiar with this place, please let me know whether or not it seems worthwhile.

From 130 S: Right on Federal St. ** From 130 N: Left at Jacksonville Rd.(

sign points to the right) Mills Harley Davidson on Your Left, drive across

Rt.130 S.** From Rt. 295: Exit at Burlington (Rt. 541 N). Bear right onto

Burlington Bypass(541 Truck Rt.) left at dead end. Cross 130 N & 130 S.**

From Rt. 95 in PA: Exit Burlington- Bristol Bridge Rt. 413 S. Cross Bridge

to NJ. Turn left on to Rt. 130 North**.

I have never heard of a store doing this before. All I can say (in my best Jersey Girl voice) is .."ARE THEY FER REAL?"

 

Hmmm... I wonder if it is worth driving south? Anj, I would just be too curious not to go. I mean there could be CURRICULUM TREASURE there...nah...I like TOG. Let me know what you decide.

Nope, never heard of it, but it's around the corner from my Dairy Queen!!!! DQ is right next to the Harley place listed in the directions.

 

Hmmm....oh the temptation is great, but the storage space is small...

It would take me almost an hour to get there, so I'd really like to know that it would be worthwhile, you know?

I called the mobile number, and spoke with a very busy woman.

She said that they don't have curriculum or anything, but lots of teaching aids. She said that they still have a ton of merchandise available, but things have been moving out the door. She said that they don't have a lot of curriculum, but that's not what I'm really looking for. I asked about school supply type stuff and she said that they don't have any more markers, but there are other things.

 

I really wish someone knew this place because if it were worthwhile I'd go down in a heartbeat!
