Ruby Rose
I love our puppy but his breath knocks me out. He eats a quality food and chews lots of beef hides. Are there any cures?
Laura Corin
I brush our dog's teeth weekly with special doggy toothpaste. I think that some people do it more often. Laura
black_midori
They have "breath mint" bones / chew items. There are also breath mint type tabs to give as a snack.
Denisemomof4
Puppies should not have bad breath. Has he been properly wormed? Worms can cause horrendous breath. I have had dogs all my life and have had only two puppies with bad breath. One was due to a severe worm infestation, the other is just his natural, gross smelling breath. dbmamaz
i hate the idea of brushing a dog's teeth and have never done it, but i took my last dog to the groomer once, and they did it . . .wow, it made a difference, for weeks!
Ruby Rose
I have tooth paste and brush. Guess I could give that a try, but the paste stinks too IMO. He has been dewormed. He had both round and tape when we got him and received 2 treatments for that. He is 5 months old so that was a few months ago. Hmm? I thinking it might be the beef hides. But he loves them and they keep him occupied more that anything else. Going to try to brush his teeth today.
Live2Ride
I don't have issues with it anymore since switching off of kibble. Brushing helps. They make a minty paste too. Some dogs like it, some don't. do it regularly though
