It was the last one standing. The Author McGuffey's sister-in-law scratched her initials into one of our window panes to assure herself that her engagement ring stone was indeed a diamond. My number one reason is that I would love to use the guide book that Ruth Beechick wrote, unfortunately it doesn't correspond well with the revised version. My number two reason is that I feel the amazon version (or whoever publishes it!) is of lower quality than Mott Media. They still work but I prefer the overall look and quality that Mott Media produces. I found a picture of each to give you an idea. VaKim Posted July 12, 2008 Share Posted July 12, 2008 I have only used one of them, a long time ago, but the one thing I read over and over about them was that the newer ones were more watered down as far as moral teaching and Christianity is concerned, and tend a bit toward more modern views of things.
