Tohru
Which religious group believes Jesus is the Messiah, but Jesus is not G-d? (other than Jehovah Witnesses - although I'm not sure if that is their exact belief or not) TIA!
MeaganS
Mormons believe he is a literal Son of God, but not God himself. Two separate people.
AHASRADA
Muslims believe Jesus was the Messiah, and that he will return to earth during the Last Days, but not that he is God or the son of God.
umsami
Muslims do. They believe he is a Prophet as well as that he'll return in the end times. Believe the virgin birth as well....but believe that God made it appear that he was crucified, but it was really someone else (many say Judas). However, Muslims believe that there is only one God, a monotheistic view akin to the Jewish view. So, the concept of the Trinity is unknown in Islam. Pamela H in Texas
JWs believe that Jesus is the Son of God which is what he claimed and what he was accused of. Many times through the scriptures, he was very clear that he was under God, not deserving of what is God's (such as worship), etc. We also believe that Jesus is now reigning king and that we are in the last days. tntgoodwin
Mormons, Muslims, and JWs...but those have all already been said. See this article for more possibilities: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nontrinitarianism
Celia
Christadelphians do. Jesus is the son of God.
DianeW88
As a member of the LDS church, let me clarify our beliefs for you. We do believe Jesus is God. He is a member of the Godhead, consisting of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. We do not believe in the traditional Christian concept of the trinity. We believe each member is a distinct individual, but united in purpose and power and therefore one God. Here are statements that explain further: http://jesuschrist.lds.org/SonOfGod/eng/ This should answer all your questions about how Mormons view Christ. http://www.lds.org/general-conference/2007/10/the-only-true-god-and-jesus-christ-whom-he-hath-sent?lang=eng&query=trinity This explains our view of the trinity. Hope that helps.
