love2read
I wish I had one young enough to do this, but since mine are older now I thought of all of you when I came upon this last night. Isn't this a great idea when learning about fossils? I'm just so impressed with how good they turned out http://lapazfarm.homeschooljournal.net/2007/10/06/fossil-workshop/
alisoncooks
Those really do look awesome! Bookmarking that for next year (though with children who will only be 5 & 7 then, I doubt ours will turn out so well! :tongue_smilie:)
*Jessica*
Thank you!!! We are doing prehistory right now and tomorrow's art project is a sculpey one, so we have supplies already on hand. Perfect timing!
jar7709
Those are totally cute! We did a big fossil event over here with a bunch of friends the other day- I didn't think of that, but we did have the clay out to make fossil trackways. Which was great, but I am going to have to remember this idea for the future!
