FiveOaksAcademy
We don't really like Apologia, after using it for General and Physical. What are some other good options for 9th-12th? I want it to be a Christian curriculum. I am considering BJU at this point. What is a solid curriculum for science from a Christian perspective? Apologia has worked well and has been good for my older student, but this particular student just does. not. like. it!!
Elysian
Is your student aiming to study science at a college level afterwards? Or are you looking at general-preparation-for-well-informed-adult-life?

HollyDay
We enjoyed Science Shepherd biology. I'm using BJU for chemistry but I've heard good things about Spectrum. Abeka and Alpha Omega are other christian curriculum houses. I've not used them so I can't comment on them.
Alphabetika
Take a look at Shepherd Biology. My dd will be using it next year. She has done Apologia for the last two years and is tired of the tone. I tried BJU with my oldest and it was just too much. Shepherd looks like a happy medium. Perhaps it would work for you!
Mom22ns
BJU is probably the most rigorous of the Christian based science programs. You can use it with their teachers or with DIVE science. DIVE tests are quarterly and have less detail than BJU which can get bogged down in minutia.
LovinHS
I would also suggest taking a look at Science Shepherd Biology. I have this, though we will not start using it until the fall. From what I see so far it is exactly what I was looking for.:hurray:
