LNC
I need something else for next year and I'm wondering how the difficulty level compares? How is it taking the test online? It looks so inexpensive if I'm reading it right - with instant results. :) http://education.pearsonassessments.com/haiweb/cultures/en-us/productdetail.htm?pid=SAT10Online&Community=EA_PreK-12_API_Achievement
6packofun
I hope someone can answer your questions, but thank you for pointing us to this! I've never heard of it and it looks interesting. I'm curious if it's a valid standardized test to use here in OH for our requirement. (We choose the testing option.)

I'm assuming it is the same test as the SAT, I'll have to look and see if it is approved for our state as well!:tongue_smilie:
Momling
I asked Pearson about the test... It's not sold to individuals - only school districts (hence the low per student rate). Sorry!
jayb842
Abeka has the same test for individual student purchase. We'll do it in May. Ds is in 3rd grade.
LNC
Here it is at Abeka http://www.abekatesting.org/StanfordOnline.aspx I'm still wondering how SAT-10 compares with Cat survey in general? If anyone has used both booklet versions, can you compare them for me?
mchel210
Seton tests are very simple in my opinion. I used the K, 1, 2 7, 8. There are very few questions and the results are very plain...like scored 7 in reading scored 8 in math Our local Homeschool group offered SAT which is stanford and it was MUCH more detailed. like... problem solving...98% math procedures... total math... word sentences... vocabulary... I had never heard of an Stanford online. It does sound like they are keeping up with technology! I preferred SAT FAR more then Seton because of the details. ktgrok
Thanks for sharing, this looks awesome! I also like that the test booklet ones let them answer IN the test, it seems, rather than bubbling in.
