Natalieclare
my struggling 7 year old? Level B going slowly? She is just not connecting with Singapore. At all. And I love Singapore! But I need something that will speak to her brain! If I bought level B for her, would I need to buy level A for my quick learning 5yo? ChrisB
I'd start Level B with your 7 yr old. I've always started my 5 yr olds with Level A before moving on to B because I feel the gradual introduction to numbers in A gives a better foundation for that age. Your DD7 probably has enough of an introduction of numbers that Level A would be too easy for her. Level B mostly covers the same information as Level A, but at an accelerated pace. So if you start with Level A, then you get to skip some of the first lessons in Level B once you get there. Mommy22alyns
Yes, I would do B for your 7yo and A for your 5yo.
Soror
Personally, I started ds at B and plan to do the same for dd at 6. I'd let the 5 yo listen in when he wants and introduce the concepts of the first 20 lessons specifically to him and just really stretch out the games and activities.
