TriciaS Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 I'm looking at buying some cuisenaire rods for my kids, a preschooler and a 6 year old. Are the introductory sets of 79 enough pieces, or do I need a bigger set? I love saving money, but sometimes it seems like I end up spending longer in the end when I have to buy an extra set of something later on. Thanks for your help! Walking-Iris Posted March 31, 2012 Share Posted March 31, 2012 The intro kit has a nice little booklet that comes with it detailing how to use them and offers some games---but definitely get as many as you can---you want at least 10 orange rods and the intro kit doesn't have enough 10 rods to make 100---being able to make that 100 is key!!!
