Momma H
OYAN is wonderful for anyone who is questioning. My 14 yob really thrives on it. They also have a great forum where he has made some nice friends. This June there is a writing workshop near Kansas City that he (and dh) will be attending. My son's writing is vastly growing. He has also read books written by fellow OYANers and says they are (and i quote)"real page turners, I can't put them down". Just thought I would put in a plug! milovany
And what's the deal?
Butter
The deal isn't up yet. It's coming soon. Last July it was 20% off plus 500 SmartPoints. I'd guess the deal will be about the same this time around. It is for 8th-12th grade.
abbeyej
What ages does it work for? Alley It's really meant to be a high school course (a full credit elective), but it's possible to use with *very* *motivated* 7th or 8th graders. It's a fabulous course, but very challenging and it requires kids to be ready to *work*. :)
