joyfulhomeschooler
Do SLs RA books go along with the history theme? Specifically for B+C? Or is it just the books listed under history that do? I know the Readers don't coincide with the history yet in this level but just wasn't sure on the read alouds.
threeofakind
I believe they normally do not at that level- some might but for the most part they do not. Once you hit Core D I *think* it changes, but not entirely sure!:001_smile:
Mommy22alyns
No, not at that level. We read aloud things like Understood Betsy, Henry Huggins, Charlotte's Web, etc. There was a Greek Myths book and Detectives in Togas, but nothing else was remotely linked to history. I think it does change in D, though, and RAs become more closely linked to history.
daughterofsarah77
Not at that level, but we are doing B+C and I'm glad to be reading the books we have read. They have been things she has learned other important things from.
joyfulhomeschooler
I'm actually glad they don't because I want to start reading the read alouds now and do the history readers at a later date.
