momto2Cs
I'm looking for more science books I can read aloud. We are very much enjoying The Magic of Reality (Dawkins) and I would love to find more science books written at about that level, on a variety of topics. Thanks! daijobu
How about: Cosmos by Sagan (We're reading Magic of Reality, too! My kids are now asking detailed questions about how glass can be a liquid. Who knew?)

Chrysalis Academy
Ok, I know this might not be exactly what you were looking for, but if you liked MOR, I *highly* recommend The Evolution of Calpurnia Tate. It is a novel, but there is a lot of science in it . . . it is about an 11-year old girl growing up in Texas in 1899, she's a tomboy, has 7 brothers, and struggles with her mother about being "ladylike". She has a grandfather who is a scientist - a "natural philospher" really, and teaches her about nature and biology and botany and observation and Darwin . . . it is a wonderful book, one of Miss P's top 3 of all time, she plans on naming her daughter Calpurnia.
