the4Rs
Just curious what you have/would love to have for your kids to ignite a fire for learning once the academic work is finished for the day. (This can be for any age range in case this would benefit others...I am specifically looking for younger elementary myself) Starting my wishlist and would love ideas. :001_smile:

Alte Veste Academy
Audio books engineering-type toys - legos, K'nex, etc. Educational videos tangrams geoboards :iagree: These are all must-haves for me. I will also add Zometool, Citiblocs, and unit blocks with figures from history/science. Many narrations happen via block here. Piano lessons/ practicebooks with drawing lessons kids science magazine subscriptions classical music C.D.s :iagree: and will add all different genres of music. Plus, or DD, violin and for DS9, guitar. It is the most incredible thing for me to watch them go from playing something on the piano to the guitar/violin or see them play new music or figure something out by ear. I'm also big into hobby gifts here (woodworking, weaving, embroidery, quilting, gardening, model making, etc.).
