GingerPoppy
Me! :D I just hope it doesn't let me down. (And I wish there weren't so many commercial tie-ins.)
Word Nerd
After reading this review, nope! I wasn't really planning on it anyway, though. (I love the book.) Don’t be fooled. Despite its soft environmentalist message “The Lorax” is an example of what it pretends to oppose. Its relationship to Dr. Seuss’s book is precisely that of the synthetic trees that line the streets of Thneedville to the organic Truffulas they have displaced. The movie is a noisy, useless piece of junk, reverse-engineered into something resembling popular art in accordance with the reigning imperatives of marketing and brand extension. nmoira
Nope, not without glowing reviews. Been burned too many times with "Dr. Suess" adaptations.
LeslieAnneLevine
We plan to see it, but maybe not opening week since my sister is insisting we wait to see it with her. :) We tend to see a lot of movies and my son is interested in seeing it, but he's not nearly as excited about The Lorax as he is about Pirates!
